Board of director weekdns were the most reliable source of repairs for cabins, lodge roofs, stairways, and a host of other jobs. Often the board members (who were prominent business men of Oakland County) would bring skilled hard working volunteers from ther respective business - plumbers, electricians, painters, carpenters, etc.
